Last night, we were invited to a reception at the Penthouse of a building just off of Trafalgar Square. The outside of the building is not so pretty but the view is spectacular! Unfortunately, I didn’t have my canon camera but did get a few shots with the compact camera.

beautiful even though it taken by compact camera, i like photos taken from high places …
i think the same view with a tripod + pro cam at night will be amazing!

Thanks! I would love to go back with the canon camera and a tripod but it was a one-time opportunity.

Can you imagine having that view all the time? Wow! The mix of old architecture and new is quite amazing … forgive my ignorance, but what is the church with the pillars right in the middle of the square (I feel sure this is something I should know)

It’s St. Martin in the Fields Church. Very pretty church in a great location. They have a really yummy cafe in the crypt.

Oh my! Such fabulous photos!! I especially love the first one- the darkening evening really makes those buses in red pop 🙂 And the later ones with the buildings lit up- reminds me a bit of the monuments lit up at night in DC
