Washington DC is filled with beautiful parks and fountains ~ here are a few of my favorites.
Nice images! I especially like the point of view on the WW II Memorial. I haven’t seen anyone shoot from that angle before. You are absolutely right about the number of interesting fountains in the city. Have you been over to the Bartholdi Fountain on Independence Avenue & 1st Street SW? Another favorite of mine is the Darlington Fountain at 5th and D Streets, NW, immortalized by the B&W photographer Volkmar Wentzel in the 1930s.

Thanks! I was coming from Constitution Gardens and liked the angle looking toward the WWII memorial. I’ll have to check out Wentzel’s photos ~ thanks for the suggestion!
