In our five years in Germany, our only visit to Prague was in July 2001. You would have thought we’d have visited more often since we were only a 2 hour drive away but there was so much to see in Europe and we never made it back to Prague. Too bad because it’s a wonderful city with so much history. July is the busiest time of year and there were hoards of tourists out and about. We splurged and stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel. Much to our surprise, we were upgraded to a suite upon arrival. I love it when that happens. Problem was, we didn’t want to leave the comfy suite but we did and spent all our waking hours roaming the gorgeous sites of Prague.

Mindy, Congratulations on your new job! Of course, you’re welcome in Guam whenever you want to visit. Guam has a different flair than Hawaii so you can experience another island style 🙂 And you won’t have to twist my arm to go to Hawaii for a girlfriends reunion. Good luck with your move.

Patty,
Love your blog. Both Ann and I have attempted to email but was returned to us. I tried again earlier today and am pasting here just in case you don’t receive again and maybe you’ll get the info.
Aloha (Hawaii’s way of saying Hafa Adai) 🙂
Sorry for the delay in response. My last day here is August 15 and I arrive in Hawaii August 30 to start my new job Sept. 5. I think I’ve found a place to live and hope to finalize that before I get there to make for a more seamless transition. The last thing I want to do is have to house hunt when I arrive. Would rather get going and take a few days off when my household goods arrive. I guess it goes without saying that I will definitely come to visit you in Guam (you did invite me, didn’t you? :)) Told Ann she needs to come to Hawaii and we could all meet there and have a big time. Maybe we can make it to your blog — which by the way is fun to read — you’re a great writer — you should write a European travel guide for vegetarians with the same style of writing — very interesting.
I will do better about keeping in touch, and my email address will remain the same.
Take care, and I look forward to seeing you soon.
Mindy
