Today was FG’s first day as an Altar Server:
And I know I was more nervous for her than she was. Thankfully, we have a very young, nice Priest who is so funny and good with the kids. The “new” servers even got an applause at the end of mass.
We sure seem to be going through a lot of “firsts” these days and it’s going by way too fast for me.
Hi Patti– I tried to send this to your account but no luck — so copied it here. Enjoy your site — it’s great! Tomorrow is my last day here then off to my new adventure. Hope to see you soon. Oh and I want to go to all those restaurants when I visit!! 🙂
Well, I started this email the 31st but apparently didn’t finish! I just found it in my drafts in Outlook. Can you tell I’m PCSing and my brain is not functioning properly. I arrive in Hawaii Aug. 30 and begin working 5 Sept. I have Peekaboos paperwork complete and she can enter the state Sept 1, but won’t be able to untilk after Sept 15 due to the heat embargo — am currently working the travel plans fro her with friends. Will probably meet someone in Las Vegas over the weekend and pick her up there so she won’t have to be in the cargo area for so long and can ride in the cabin from Atlanta to Vegas.
I will be the PA Chief at Triple Army Medical Center — will be busy but after talking with the guy I will be working with — he seems so on the ball that I know I will enjoy working with him (something new and different — working with someone who is motivated!) 🙂
I definitely want to come vuisit you in Guam and of course you guys are always welcome to come visit anytime.
Everything here is pretty much th esame. Think ANN and protocol folks are getting ready for a Barn Dance — and you know how that goes — And of course Ann is still working her ass off as usual. Yes, Kane has finally “left the building”
My sister and nephew are coming over New years and we’re going to New Zealand, and I definitley plan to go to Australia. My sponsor informed me that TAMC hosts the Pacific Med Conf and it will be in the Phillipines next Spring — so that will be fun.
CSM Ellenburg is still around — think he leaves in October. He stays over in Blg 244 in the re-enlistment office with SFC Sharpe.
I have CC Ann on this reply so you will have her email address.
Take care and I’ll see you soon!

I asked FG if the candle was heavy and she said “Well, it wasn’t the lightest thing I’ve ever carried, but it wasn’t too bad.” Next time, she needs to carry it at the base like her co-server did.
