I love the sound of wind flowing through the birch trees and thought up this Haiku:
Birch tree leaves flutter
singing softly with the wind
moving so gently

Hi Karla!
Great to hear from you ~ doesn’t Sport look good?! I want to hear ALL about your call to Linden ~ I think about that place often. More by e-mail…

Glad you’ve made it to NY….can’t wait to take some time and catch up with all your travels.
I just made a phone call to Linden (YES, you read that right) and was having a little panic attack and had to reach out to you!
Love the pictures!!

Heidi: WOW ~ A+ is high praise coming from a teacher! For me, Haiku is the best way to describe certain things or experiences. I bet your students came up with some good ones.
BTW, for some reason, I’m having trouble getting into your comments section. I’m sure it’s my ancient laptop and hopefully all will be back to normal when we move into our house and I get my desktop back. I loved the family photo you posted on your blog.

A+ . . . yes, I checked to make sure it was 5-7-5! I always loved doing haiku poems with my students and then making them illustrate it. I wish I would have put some away because I had some talented kids . . . glad you updated!
